Uganda Unbeatable Image Description of Self Driving Explorer

Am a solo traveler Explorer  and I spent three weeks traveling around Uganda while self-driving in a Land cruiser and visited almost every national park in the country. Uganda was a revelation! I had not expected such a richness of wildlife or such great concentration. Uganda has everything that her more famous neighbor Kenya has…plus such once-in-a-lifetime sightings as gorillas and chimpanzees.

Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls are justifiably the country’s biggest draw cards but if you have time head for Kidepo Valley National Park in the far north. If I was pushed into a vote I would say that Kidepo is probably the most stunning national park in all Africa!

Since Uganda’s parks suffered such a massive poaching scourge during the turbulent 1980s it is a second tier safari destination in comparison to its neighbors Kenya and Tanzania. Though that does not mean you shouldn’t consider it. Wildlife populations have rebounded in the national parks and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary means you can score the Big Five in Uganda again. But, ironically, the safari animals are not the main reason to do a safari here; it’s a variety of other things that make Uganda a special destination, why not explore uganda on a Self Drive safari with 4×4 Self Drive uganda.

Scenically Uganda holds its own with any other country the mountains and lakes of the southwest are postcard perfect, standing atop Murchison Falls is exhilarating and Kidepo Valley is simply amazing. The Central African rainforest and East African savannah, host over 1000 species of bird, makes Uganda one of the best bird-watching destinations not just in Africa, but the world.

But more than anything it’s the chance to see gorillas that makes Uganda excellent for safaris. Over half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas live in Bwindi and Mgahinga Gorilla national parks where groups have been habituated to humans to allow up-close encounters. It’s one of the most amazing wildlife experiences a person can have.

This unique combination of factors, not available anywhere else, is why overall, Uganda is solidly one of my favorite countries in Africa. Whether it’s your first safari or your tenth, Uganda can make it special.

Besides all that, Uganda is gifted by water sports activities in Jinja. You can enjoy kayaking, white water rafting, bungee jumping and not forgetting the spot where Speke sat after discovering the source of the Nile. Self driving is very safe in Uganda and I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Uganda, there is a lot of freedom, flexibility and cheap. Find the budget Car Rental Uganda company and hire a 4×4 Safari Van or SUV to explorer Uganda on a private Guided adventure Today. Try and draw your travel plan not missing those activities Mentioned above when undertaking a self drive Uganda safari.

For many people traveling to a Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda for Gorilla Trekking Adventures can be an intriguing and exotic experience. Having the opportunity to learn about the Mountain Gorillas found in Bwindi is agreat experience that you can not be separated from and i took a 10 Days Uganda Gorilla & wildlife Safari in April because it was single traveller and the company provided me a self drive type of safari where they hired acar to me and adriver to try and make my dream safari to uganda be fullfilled. The Type of the car they hired to me was a 4×4 Rav4 which was good for a single traveler and the guide I had was billy who was very knowledgable about the roads and plcaes to stay in as I had to use the same company to book the lodges and make more saving on my holiday vacation to Uganda .Unfortunately for many individuals that would like to travel on solo basis I truly recommend that this company is ver perfect to make you have your dreamt safari become true by contacting them and they find the best way to reduce the budget and fits in oyur needs and interests. I took a 10 Days Uganda Safari holiday by making them reserve the Gorilla permits from Uganda Wildlife Authority and my thanks goes to the company reservation that attended to me by names of Moses and he first gave a fully safari package and it was expensive and I asked him how can I reduce my budget cozy I wanted to travel to Uganda and he proposed April that is the best month because the Gorilla permits will be cheap and he opted to hire to me a small Rav4 that fitted me and even the driver at only USD 85 Per day Less Fuel and this was very grateful. It was not only a great Safari, but an absolute treasure to meet Billy and Moses.

Is Car hire in Uganda Safe for Road Trippers Explorers?

Great Uganda is well know to have received the well know explorers that discovered the best Tourists attraction in Uganda Including the Source of the Nile in Jinja however some claim that its source is not in Jinja and this lead to the Second Explorer who started the Adventure Known as Walking on the Nile that Started from Rwanda and Ended in Egypt Passing through the Countries that shared the Wonderful Tourists attraction of the Nile. Walking on the Nile was done by Levi son that walked through the Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda.

In the years since 1987, safety has consistently improved. Today the state is relatively stable after 25 years. Hire a car and Travel north to Murchison Falls National Park, kibale national park, Bwindi impenetrable national park, lake Mburo and many more tourism places.

As in any urban area, Kampala can be dodgy. There is a lot of traffic germ and most drivers do not obey the rules on the roads. Avoid leaving your essential things in your car, always lock your car when parking, and be careful of pick pockets

In the gorilla tracking region of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo is safe and since the late 1990s, there have been no incidents and all groups now go out with armed guards (which was not the case before). There is a visible security presence in the region.

The good news is that all the Ugandan parts are safe currently and even tourists go and visit the Kidepo valley national park on a Private Car rental in Uganda

The park can be reached by both road and air. Driving is rewarding, as much of Karamoja, like Kidepo itself, is a vast and unspoiled wilderness. However, road conditions are sometimes poor and a 4WD vehicle is essential.

There are four possible routes but the shortest is  Kampala – Karuma – Gulu – Kitgum – Kidepo = 571km (10 hours). The most usual route passes through Gulu and Kitgum Ideally, travellers should plan to stay overnight in one of these towns or at Chobe, near Karuma in Murchison Falls National Park.

Kidepo is served by a network of game tracks in the Narus Valley in the south of the park. These cross seasonal streams and tracts of wetland, making a 4WD vehicle essential, especially during the rainy season. To the north, a single track leads across the Kidepo River to Pirre in the north east of the park.

When you hire a car, it is necessary to have a map and hire a local guide who will take you through the game drive. Below is some advice on what to bring while planning to visit different destinations in Uganda. Hiking boots are ideal for forest walks although stout walking shoes are adequate. Lightweight raincoats are advisable. Altitude and the forest environment makes evenings cool and a light jacket is also recommended. For a camera, be aware that the dark-haired chimpanzees in typically dim conditions present challenging subjects.
